Steph’s making her mark

Steph Markos and her subject Michael Bevan

Steph Markos has entered a portrait of international cricketer Michael Bevan for the 2019 Archibald Prize.

It will be a nervous wait for the Ron Bendall squad sprinter until Archibald finalists are announced on May 2.

The Archibald prize, first awarded in 1916, carries a first prize of $100,000 and is the most important portraiture prize in Australia.
