Kat’s back

Katrina Hunt (centre) contests the 100m hurdles at Bankstown on Saturday.

Katrina Hunt started her 2013/14 season well in Treloar Shield competition at Bankstown on Saturday.

She easily won the u/20 women’s 100m and was second in her signature event the open women’s 100m hurdles.

Her training partner Bella O’Grady also returned to individual competition, taking out her heat of the open women’s 200m.

Ali Bartholomew also contested the the 200m finishing fourth in the first heat in personal best time.

Ashley McMahon and Jackie Bezuidenhout once again dominated the masters sprints. Ashley won the men’s 35+ years 200m and Jackie won the women’s 35+ years event. Once again Alice Bohdan was second behind Jackie. However Alice got her revenge in the high jump, beating Jackie into second place on countback. Alice also won the triple jump.

Ashley also did a personal best to win the 35+ years triple jump and also took out the shot put.

Matt Wood cruised to victory in the u/18 boys 110m hurdles.
