Look out Canada, here she comes
Nicolette Donofrio is off to Canada in June with a group of Australian junior athletes. Nicolette, the national u16 years 200m champion, will compete in the 100m, 200m and hurdles at two meets before returning home.

Andy handy in the park
Andy West finished third in the men’s 45-49 years division in the Broadbeach Waters parkrun over 5km on the Gold Coast on Saturday. Andy ran a personal best time, beating his effort the previous week in Artarmon by 40 seconds.

Seven lucky for Susie
Susie Douglas finished the year at No 7 in the Australian rankings for the u/18 years 400m hurdles. She was ranked 14th in the u20 age group and 35th in the open division.

Janet helps Australian team to national record
Janet Naylon helped set a national record in the women’s 50+ years 4x200m indoors relay at the World Indoor Masters Championships in Daegu, South Korea, last month. The Australian team won the gold medal with Janet running the third leg.
